Starting with vintage gift & garden retail stores in 1983 in the historic areas of Forest park in St. Louis & the  quaint river town of St. Charles, Missouri,   Julie Lee ( originally from Dayton Ohio) is the founder of several business establishments including J.J.'s Hatbox, Barthelemys, JulieLee Company, Vintage Paperworks,  & Marshberry Buds.  She has received recognition and awards for her product designs and notarity for her stores in St. Charles which were published in Beautiful Shops In America.  Many of her product designs have been featured on Home Shopping Network,or in Knott's Berry Farm, April Cornell, Fortunoff's, Speigels, Touchstone and Touch of Class Catalogs.  

Julie Lee has enjoyed a long lasting fascination with collecting and selling Victorian & French period antiques, vintage paper, stationery, books, toiletries, dried botanicals, and garden accents.  It is these passions that dictate to a large degree the flavor of products &  designs you see in this online catalog.
